Rental FAQ's
Yes, and we recommend it! Booking in advance ensures availability, the best selection and the best pricing. Advance booking online is 20% off walk-in pricing and you will be able to settle your waiver and payment in advance so you can get in and out faster. You can reserve your rentals days or weeks ahead of your trip—whenever your plans are set. Our advance booking window starts 48 hours in advance. We also offer same-day/late bookings!
Most fittings take 15–30 minutes, depending on group size and time of day.
Absolutely! It's our specialty. We have the largest fleet in the valley and the techs to help get big groups on the mountain with ease. Feel free to give us a call at 970-726-8882 to discuss your group plans.
Yes! This is a huge bonus :). You can come in anytime after 4pm the night before you plan to hit the mountain to get your gear. Just book online for the dates you plan to rent, then come in the night before to get fitted and set up!
Yes, we offer a 20% discount when you book at least 48 hours in advance. No code is required. We sometimes offer additional discounts and perks which come in our emails. Sign up here!
We are the only shop that includes tax in the rental cost. All of the shops in Winter Park have to charge 11.2% tax (the highest sales tax rate in Colorado) on top of the rental. The shops in Fraser have to charge 9.2%. So that savings can really make a difference. The only items we charge extra for are helmets, upgraded boots and insurance because they're totally optional.
For skiers, our packages include boots and poles. For snowboarders, boots are included. We also offer helmets and K2 BOA boots for an additional cost.
You can bring your gear back by 6:00 pm at the end of your rental period.
We have top quality equipment for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders. Our staff will help match you with the right set up based on current conditions, you ability and terrain plans.
Of course! We want everyone to have the best experience possible. Stop by the store and we'll make adjustments and swap equipment when possible.
It's totally optional. It's a nominal fee and could save you hundreds if something happens, but it's totally your call!
